How to get to Liboreiro

By Air:

Porto Airport - it is approximately a 2 hour journey to Liboreiro from the airport:  Airlines flying into this airport include Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) and TAP Air Portugal (www.flytap.com)

Lisbon Airport -  it is approximately a 3 hour journey to Liboreiro from Lisbon airport.  Both Ryanair and TAP Air Portugal fly to Lisbon, along with many other airlines.

By Train:

It is possible to take a train to Coimbra from either Lisbon or Porto airport and then hire a car from there.  We are a 45 minute drive from Coimbra.

If necessary, it may be possible to arrange for one of the team to collect you from the airport, bus, or train station for an additional charge.

By Car:

If you prefer to do the whole journey by car, the most pleasurable route from the UK is by ferry from either Portsmouth to Bilbao or Plymouth to Santander (a relaxing, two day mini cruise in itself! www.poferries.com ) and then it's approximately a 7-8 hour direct drive through to Liboreiro.

It is essential to have a car to be able to get around the area and appreciate all the area has to offer.  Cars can be hired at both Porto and Lisbon Airports and also in Coimbra, which is a 45 minute drive away from Liboreiro.
